Senior Lead Applicator Technician

PRINCIPAL DUTIES

1. Identified as the Competent Person for field projects
2. Plans executions of project including identification of material and labor requirements
3. Assist Sales Rep and Project Engineer when bidding projects.
4. Directs and coordinates work activities of the crew.
5. Maintains good working knowledge of all products per manufacturer's recommendations as wells as knowledge of proper application processes.
6. Follows schedules for the day and week in the application process.
7. Prepares surfaces for the application of products, including but not limited to, manual cleaning of project items with appropriate equipment and cleaning solutions or other products.
8. Ensures completion of project by specified deadlines or notifies supervisor of problems that may impact established schedules.
9. Maintains a daily diary of projects and conversations with owner/customers.
10. Maintains reliable attendance in order to support a small crew.
11. Establishes and maintains excellent customer relations.
12. Projects professionalism when executing assignments.
13. Promotes awareness of and follows Company and general safety policies; ensures jobsite safety.
14. Exhibits a core understanding of mutual respect and good customer service orientation in interactions with all people in the workplace.
15. Maintains a clean and safe environment for all workers
16. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related tasks and results as needed.
17. Maintains technical knowledge by attending educational workshops and reviewing technical publications
18. Performs other duties as assigned

PRINCIPAL REQUIREMENTS

1. Minimum 5 years of labor experience in construction required.
2. Minimum 2 years of spray painting, seal coating, road striping, or sandblasting preferred.
3. Ability to run projects independently with minimal supervision.
4. Ability to obtain and maintain security clearances as necessary.
5. Good math skills to perform calculations for product mixes and other tasks, as required.
6. Good reading skills to comprehend product and job requirements, writing to maintain clear and thorough daily records.
7. Ability to effectively communicate with customers, agencies, and owners.
8. Ability to work flexible hours and meet critical deadlines in a timely and accurate manner.
9. Ability to operate a forklift.
10. Ability to lift-up to 50 pounds, wear respirator mask, work indoors/outdoors in various weather conditions, and bend, squat, reach, push, pull, and stand.
11. Valid driver's license and favorable traffic abstract
