POSITION TITLE: Quarry Dispatcher
COMPANY: Grace Pacific, LLC.
DEPARTMENT: Quarry
REPORTS TO: Quarry Admin Supervisor
STATUS: Non-Exempt, Non-Union


PRINCIPAL DUTIES
The Dispatcher – Quarry position presents an exciting and rewarding role in our
company. If you're detailed oriented and extroverted, this position will give you the

1. Scales incoming and outgoing trucks to ensure load is compliant with D.O.T. weight
requirements (GVW), and accurately generates tags with the appropriate info.
2. Possesses a working knowledge of materials sold, the ability to recognize aggregate types by
sight and be familiar with customer job information.
3. Provides customer service, assists with sales, by; taking telephone and email orders, and
responds to inquiries regarding products, pricing, hauling rates, etc.
4. Schedules deliveries with outside truckers and coordinates deliveries with customers.
5. Calculates and receives payments from external cash customers (checks, cash and credit
card); makes deposits, prepares related reports. Balances petty cash box
6. Coordinates loading of materials with loader operators and verifies the accuracy of each load.
7. Inputs data and maintains records of daily transactions, including all sales, cash receipts, and
dispatch activity. Prepares daily, weekly and month-end summary reports as required for
assigned area.
8. Distributes task training forms for truckers as outlined by Safety Department.
9. Performs other duties as assigned.
10. Promotes awareness of and follows Company and general safety policies.
11. Exhibits a core understanding of mutual respect and good customer service orientation in
interactions with all people in the workplace.


PRINCIPAL REQUIREMENTS
1. 1 year construction administration or relevant experience preferred. 1 year prior
dispatch/sales experience preferred.
2. Basic math functions to perform daily tasks.
3. Able to read and understand contracts and other business documents.
4. Valid driver's license and favorable traffic abstract.
5. Weighmaster's License required or must obtain within first 60 days of employment.
6. Working knowledge of Word, Excel, Email. Adaptable to in-house software. Keyboarding skills
sufficient to complete tasks in a timely manner.10 key calculator by touch.
