Low Boy Truck Driver

POSITION TITLE: Lowboy Truck Driver

COMPANY: Grace Pacific, LLC

DEPARTMENT: Trucking - Oahu

REPORTS TO: Trucking Superintendent - Oahu

PRINCIPAL DUTIES

1. Loads transports and unloads heavy equipment to and from jobsites/destinations
2. Consults with appropriate supervisor(s) to determine the appropriate weight capacity for equipment being transported
3. Follows routes and timetables as assigned
4. Pre-check truck and able to properly fill out a "Daily Driver Inspection Report".
5. Follows all safety government and company regulations and policies.
6. Cleans and maintains Low Boy truck.
7. Enters buildings structures or bridges with knowledge of State/County restrictions regarding road widths and height restrictions.
8. Performed other duties as assigned
9. Must be able to secure loads Federal and State laws

PRINCIPAL REQUIREMENTS

1. 5 years CDL driving and 1 year paving experience preferred
2. Current CDL (A)
3. Able to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends
4. Familiarity with roadways and locations
5. Ability to operate Low Boy as well as any company equipment that may be transported with thorough knowledge of pertinent safety and government regulations
6. Good verbal and written communication skills
7. Valid Drivers License and favorable Hawaii Driving History Record
