POSITION TITLE: Lead Applicator Technician
COMPANY: G P Roadway Solutions

REPORTS TO: Division Manager
STATUS: Non-Exempt, Non-Union

PRINCIPAL DUTIES
The delivery of quality services ensures continued business and enhances the Company's ability to expand its lines of business.
1. Coordinates and directs work activities of a small crew
2. Maintains good working knowledge of all products per manufacturer's recommendations as wells as knowledge of proper application processes.
3. Follows schedules for the day and week in the application process.
4. Prepares surfaces for the application of products, including but not limited to, manual cleaning of project items with appropriate equipment and cleaning solutions or other products.
5. Ensures completion of project by specified deadlines or notifies supervisor of problems that may impact established schedules.
6. Maintains a daily diary of projects and conversations with owner/customers.
7. Maintains reliable attendance in order to support a small crew.
8. Establishes and maintains excellent customer relations.
9. Projects professionalism when executing assignments.
10. Promotes awareness of and follows Company and general safety policies; ensures jobsite safety.
11. Exhibits a core understanding of mutual respect and good customer service orientation in interactions with all people in the workplace.
12. Maintains a clean and safe environment for all workers
13. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related tasks and results as needed.
14. Maintains technical knowledge by attending educational workshops and reviewing technical publications.
15. Performs other duties as assigned.

PRINCIPAL REQUIREMENTS
1. 2-year labor experience in construction required.
2. Good math skills to perform calculations for product mixes and other tasks, as required.
3. Good reading skills to comprehend product and job requirements, writing to maintain clear and thorough daily records.
4. Ability to effectively communicate with customers, agencies, and owners.
5. Ability to attain good working knowledge of all products used.
6. Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, holidays, overtime as required by the company to meet project needs.
7. Must be able to work at multiple sites/locations, including neighbor islands.
8. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly, wear respirator mask, work indoors/outdoors in various weather conditions, and bend, squat , reach , push , pull, and stand.
9. Valid driver's license and favorable driver history record.
10. Spray painting, seal coating, road striping, or sandblasting experience helpful.
11. Ability to operate a forklift and be certified within 6 months of hire date.
12. Ability to obtain and maintain security clearances as necessary.
