Equipment Maintenance Repair Coordinator

PRINCIPAL DUTIES:

  • Maintain the Preventive Maintenance schedule and schedules the service personnel for all mobile equipment fleet preventive maintenance. Maintains inventory and ensures that adequate inventory is kept for preventive maintenance programs
  • Collects all oil sample data and reviews for potential problems. Verifying that all samples are received and suggesting corrective action for any samples requiring action.
  • Working with the Manager, Foreman and purchasing agents will open, maintain, and close work orders for scheduled and unscheduled maintenance. Using this information will assist in scheduling and assigning mechanics.
  • Maintain the telematics and GPS tracking systems to verify equipment location and hours of use reporting.
  • Ensures that all trucks used in the Preventive Maintenance and Fuel delivery functions are kept clean and maintained properly
  • Keeps a log of who checks out tools and ensures the tools are returned in proper working order.
  • Verifies when repair parts have been received and informs the Foreman so repairs can be scheduled.
  • Organizes warehouse and develops procedures and control systems for ensuring appropriate inventory levels.
  • Maintain daily fuel logs and hour meter readings and enters data needed to schedule Preventative Maintenance
  • Maintain company fuel card user account as per assigned by Manager / Foreman
  • Assist the foreman to ensure that the shop and work areas are kept clean and free of safety hazards. Will also ensure that all areas are kept cleaned and organized in accordance with environmental policy and local laws.
  • Ensures compliance with laws, codes, regulations, and corporate policies as they relate to parts, equipment, maintenance and contracts.
  • Enters, code and calculates payroll timecards in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Mental and Physical Demands:

Must be able to lift, push, pull, carry up to 15lbs

PRINCIPAL REQUIREMENTS:

Skills/Knowledge:

Math: Uses basic math functions to perform daily tasks.

Reading: Must be able to read and understand technical material.

Licenses: Valid driver's license and favorable traffic abstract.

Education: College degree or equivalent applicable experience.

Experience: 5 years of purchasing/warehousing experience. Experience in a vehicle or equipment repair environment required.

Other: Working knowledge of Word, Excel, Access, Email. Adaptable to

in-house software. Keyboarding skills sufficient to complete tasks

in a timely manner.

  • Responsibility for employee development - departmental succession, employee education.

  • Managing and monitoring compliance with Company policy (i.e. A&B and Grace policies) and internal control process to provide reasonable assurance of effectiveness and efficiency of operations, reliability of financial reporting, and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

  • Coordinates internal and external audit processes, including preparation of audit schedule. Manages all audit remediation activities.

  • Manage, maintain and ensure accuracy of workpapers, job costing schedules, reports and journal entries.

  • Leads department-wide initiatives to document, define and improve processes and systems to support the effective operations within Finance & Accounting.

  • Participates in updating and implementing Company vision, strategic objectives and action plans.

  • Performs others duties as assigned.

PRINCIPAL REQUIREMENTS:

Knowledge and Skill Requirements:


Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline

Experience:

  • 5+ years Accounting or Finance experience with emphasis in all phases of cost and management accounting, auditing, taxation and finance
  • 2+ years of people management experience
  • Preference to applicants with public accounting experience, experience in the construction industry and/or with publicly traded companies

Computer Skills: Advanced knowledge of computers and spreadsheets

Software: Word, Excel, PowerPoint

Math: Advanced mathematical skills required

Reading: Advanced reading skills required

Other: CPA license
