Employment Manager

Position Overview:


The Employment Manager is responsible for managing and overseeing talent acquisition and
recruitment through sourcing, attracting, screening, hiring, processing, and onboarding
prospective employees and developing recruitment processes and innovative strategies to
continuously expand recruitment efforts while ensuring standard operating procedures are
aligned with the company's Affirmative Action Plan.

Principal Duties:

• Partners with senior leaders and managers on talent management strategies and
compliance in recruiting, hiring, and retention.


• Establishes policies and procedures to recruit and staff underrepresented groups
of target individuals to include minorities and disabled candidates.


• Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new
technologies in Talent Management, and employment laws, and assures recruiting
efforts are consistent with AAP, EEOC and OFCCP, and advises management on
all EEO related matters.


• Manages data collection, maintaining logs, implementing actions, and reporting on
programs, outreach efforts, and various policies and procedures in relation to the
company's Affirmative Action Plan.


• Oversees full cycle of recruitment and onboarding processes including but not
limited to maintenance of employee data throughout the employment life cycle
including processing approved ETF forms and generating offer letters for Transfers, Promotions, New Hires, and assists in preparing Termination packets.


• Performs exit interviews and generates appropriate paperwork for corporate
payroll and benefits.


• Oversees creation, maintenance, and implementation of updated, accurate and
comprehensive job descriptions for all positions within the company.


• This individual will also provide support and assistance within the various HR
functional areas to include employee relations, labor relations, benefits
administration, training and development, and performance management.


• Maintains knowledge of current state and federal employment laws and enforces
routine compliance to procedures, processes and policies as needed.


Principal Requirements:

Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or other related
field preferred, or equivalent combination of experience and education that demonstrates the
ability to perform the duties of the position.


Experience: Minimum 5 years Human Resources experience, with working knowledge of fullcycle recruitment practices, employee and union relations, and federal and state respective employment laws. Working knowledge and experience with fully integrated HRIS platform.


Licenses: Must have Valid Driver's license and favorable traffic abstract.
PHR or SPHR preferred.


Physical Demands: Must be able to lift up to 15lbs at times


Skills: Computer Skills: Working knowledge of MS Outlook applications including Word, Excel,
PowerPoint, Publisher, Visio, and Email; aptitude to learn in-house systems; keyboarding skills
sufficient to complete daily tasks in a timely manner
